Governance Ensuring good decision making processes and then moving to implementation is crucial for effective and efficient organisational running.
Clinical and non-clinical Review Management Errors in complex systems are inevitable. Sadly errors in leading, managing and reviewing incidents often compound problems, lead to further patient and staff traumas. This can be both directly and (often more significantly) indirectly extremely costly to organisations, and more importantly staff and patients. Correct, rapid and rigorous review management achieves results and minimises current and future harm.
Serious Incidents Serious incidents need both immediate problem resolution, but also more in-depth analysis for future prevention.
